Rivers sustain life and like all life, rivers have a story…….
The story of the Anacostia River is deeply entwined with all life in the area we now call DC. Come learn a little bit about the river, search for river life and enjoy moving on water.
Don’t know how to Canoe, Kayak or Row a boat? No problem. We will teach you how.
Please Read Carefully Before Registering!
Before you pay for this event, you must make individual reservations for your boat through PG Parks and Recreation here. This will ensure that a boat is available for your chosen date. Unfortunately, PG Parks does not allow for group reservations.
We will be using best practices for COVID. Bring your mask and hand sanitizer. Do not attend if you do not feel well. We cannot be held liable for any illness that may occur during the event.
No children will be allowed without an accompanying adult of at least 18 years old.

No Refunds for No Shows.
Refunds for boats will follow PGParks rules.
Rain Dates will be the Tuesday and/or Thursday of the same week.
Each day will be different depending on the group interests and ability.
