African Centered Science – Introduction To Electricity

MLL is proud to present our 3rd season of our successful series of science classes (click here to view the curriculum map) that incorporates ancient African ideas and philosophies that are the basis of the science that we know today.

The first AfriClass in the series is Introduction to Electricity.  We will examine the ancient African understanding of matter and energy and then focus in on electricity. 

This AfriClass is best for ages 8 to 14.

The AfriClass™ lasts a total of 11 weeks. It consists of 10 weekly 1.5 hour classes. There will be a 1 week break after 5 weeks.

Dates, Times & Costs :

Days:  Tuesdays

Dates:  March 24 – June 2, 2020 (10 classes, 1 week break after 5 weeks)

Times:   Mornings: 11am to 12:30pm (US Eastern Standard Time)

                Afternoons: 5:00 to 6:30pm (US Eastern Standard Time)

Cost:    $140.00* for one child

$160.00* for 2 Children in the same family

$180.00* for 3 or more Children in the same family

        *+ $20.00 materials fee for 1 child; $15 for each additional child. (Price for US based students. Fee to be determined for other countries.)
